Reception and Junior Admissions for September 2027 open on 2nd November 2026. The deadline for applications is Friday 15th January 2027 and Herts County Council will be notifying parents of school allocations on 16th April 2027.
We will be holding tours of our school for parents applying for a Reception place in September 2027 on the following dates:
Thursday 5th November 2026 – 4.00pm – Fully Booked
Thursday 12th November 2026- 4.00pm
Tuesday 17th November 2026 – 4.00pm
The tours are for adults only and we ask that a maximum of 2 people attend. Please note there is no parking available on the school grounds.

Nursery Applications – September 2027 start
Please note that we are only able to admit children to Nursery from the term after their third birthday – for September 2027 this would mean children with a date of birth between 1st September 2023 and 31st August 2024. As we are a school nursery most children start in September in line with the academic year – however if we have spaces left and your child turns three between 1st September 2023 and 31st December 2023, we may be able to offer a place from January 2027. We cannot confirm these places until December 2026.

The deadline for applying is 9am Friday 26th February 2027. You can apply using the online form below.
We will send out our offer of a place email on Monday 15th March 2027 and the deadline for accepting the place is 9am Monday 22nd March 2027.
Where applications for places exceeds the standard number of places available, the County admissions criteria apply. There is no appeals process for nursery admissions. Parents who have not been offered a place for their child may keep their child’s details on a continuing interest list. The same admissions criteria will be applied by the school should a child leave and a place becomes available.
We offer three different session options within our Nursery.
For children eligible for 15 hours funded childcare, we offer:
- Morning sessions: 8:30am to 11:30am, Monday to Friday
- Afternoon sessions: 12:30pm to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
We also offer 30-hour funded places for eligible children. These sessions run from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:30am to 11:30am on Fridays. Parents also have the option of paying for an additional session on Friday afternoons if required.
